Modern Botanical Company was created by me, a stay at home mom, with the support of my amazing husband, and inspiration of my sons.

For a whole year after my son's coconut allergy diagnosis, I struggled to find a safe, natural, and effective diaper rash cream to use.

I realized the solution had to be taken into my own hands- and kitchen.
Late into the night (after the kids were asleep), I began experimenting with herbal infusions and ingredient ratios until I perfected the recipe for the creamy goodness that is now Not Just Butts.

Every one of my products is still made the same way- by hand, in small batches. My obsession with herbs is quite literally infused into almost everything I make- with the base of all balms beginning with an herbal oil infusion.

I plan to keep expanding my skincare (and more) line, using quality ingredients I can feel good about. After all, my own babies are my product testers!

I can't wait to share all that I have in store!
